By the way Mark, you were right about ‘Victims’. The date of the Hexagon show was 26 January 1980, the
fourth gig of the 15-date UK tour.

“I was at last night’s gig in Southampton. Wow, what a great gig! It was a truly great night
and Robin sounded so good. I think the gig has made me think that Robin has recorded quite a lot of other good stuff since I lost touch with him.
I am a fan and have been listening to Robin for my years. Last time I saw him (God knows what year?) at the
Reading Hexagon when James wore a lurid blue Hawaiian shirt from memory! All I can remember from the Reading gig was that I think it was around the ‘Victims of the Fury’ time.
The Reading
Hexagon, which is better known for its snooker on TV I think, was too posh and new, a bit like a modern civic hall. The sound in the hall was great.”
