’Truce’ (Chrysalis CHR 1352)

The combination of Trower’s Hendrix-influenced guitar pyrotechnics and Jack Bruce’s jazzy bass lines results in a strange but curiously attractive hybrid. (It is as if one has stumbled across Heavy Metal rock played by real musicians.)

It is heartening to hear Bruce singing with passion and flair again.
