Many UK fans will be familiar with the music and career of songwriter, guitarist Andy Fairweather-Low. In the same year that Robin, Jimmy and Bill were blazing a trail with ‘For Earth Below’, the former Amen Corner frontman went Top 6 in the UK charts with the hit single ‘Wide-eyed and legless’.

The song was just one of many highlights on Low’s acclaimed album ‘La Booga Rooga’. That was back in 1975.

Now some thirty years on, Andy Fairweather-Low is about to release a brand new album ‘Sweet Soulful Music’.

The album is due for release in the UK on 21 August 2006 on Proper Records and features the ‘wonderful Mr David Bronze on bass’. For more details on the album, click here.

Low will be on tour in the UK later in the year. Several dates have posted so far [see my links to venue websites below].
